This Sunday night the WWE will host their annual Extreme Rules Pay Per View. Live on Peacock we will see a lot of setup towards the Saudi Arabian show, but I’m here to focus on Extreme Rules as I bring my picks and predictions for the event! Columbus, Ohio’s Nationwide Arena will be one of the places to be this Sunday if you are a sports fan.
WWE Extreme Rules match Predictions
Carmella vs Liv Morgan
A match that has had a little build up too. Surprisingly Carmella is not in the Smackdown title picture for the first time in a few months. Carmella is now down to a rivalry against Liv Morgan. Morgan was my pick to win the Money in the Bank a few months back. This time it is time to give her the push she deserves.
Winner: Liv Morgan
United States Championship: Damien Priest vs Sheamus vs Jeff Hardy
Another triple threat match involving Damien Priest and Sheamus for the US Championship. Sheamus is building up Priest to make him a star. Jeff Hardy was just added to the match on Monday with his win over Sheamus. I don’t see him walking out with the championship as Priest probably does not drop the belt this soon.
Winner: Damien Priest
SD Tag Team Championship: The Usos vs Street Profits
The Street profits are finally back after missing some time. They are wasting no time in getting back to “wanting the smoke”. Going right for the top in The Usos. They want the titles back and will bring the smoke. This could be a show-stealing match, but the heels get the win in the end.
Winners: The Usos
Raw Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair vs Alexa Bliss
Charlotte Flair won the title back last month at Summer Slam. A lot of people were surprised when that happened. Now the Fiend-like character in Alexa Bliss is coming for the title. With Charlotte being notorious for having short reigns who do you think is winning this match?
Winner: Alexa Bliss
SD Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair
WWE wasted no time on this match last month, why should I?
Winner: Becky Lynch
(EXPECTED MATCH) WWE Championship: Big E vs Bobby Lashley
This match has not been announced, but there is speculation that this could take place Sunday. Bobby Lashley lost his title just 2 weeks before the PPV. Big E will have a 13-day reign when Extreme Rules comes in. There is no way that both MITB winners lose their championships within a month of gaining them.
Winner: Big E
Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs Demon Finn Balor- Extreme Rules match
The head of the table has been the Universal champion for over a year now. He took down John Cena at Summer Slam and a regular Finn Balor in the last month. The WWE teased Demon Balor one week before putting him out there the next, so we know it will be the Demon on Sunday. Demon Balor has never lost in the WWE. That might change on Sunday as WWE has already announced Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns for their Saudi show. Not ruining this match at all.
