So although I make a living out of it I’ll try not to talk too much here about an incident clearly none of us know much about.
Seems from Darlington’s report that Scheffler was approaching this accident which was a pedestrian fatality (RIP and prayers for those affected) when it seems like he thought it was a standard security checkpoint? From that point it was only momentary confusion that led to Scheffler being detained.
There’s no word on if he’s been arrested, although due to the incident tee times for today’s PGA’s Championship have been pushed back atleast 80 minutes.
🚨🚔⏰ JUST IN: All tee times at the PGA Championship on Friday have been pushed by 80 minutes on Friday. A pedestrian has died after being struck by a shuttle bus. Scottie Scheffler now has tee time set for 10:08 AM but it’s unclear what his current status is. (Via @PGA)

It would seem like someone from the PGA would be able to validate the circumstances with authorities, but only time will tell this morning as to whether the #1 player in the World will be able to continue his run at a Grand Slam. We will try to keep the latest update here.
8:19AM UPDATE: Not even sure if this is real…
