The Best WrestleMania Tournament

We are almost to the point of the biggest WWE Pay-per-view of the year. WrestleMania is super close as we are now 16 days away from the Greatest spectacle in Sports-Entertainment. My bright self thought that it is now time to determine which WrestleMania is the best of the best. It is March, so what better way to do this than a bracket. So I had some people of the Wrestling With Emotion Podcast give me their eight least favorite Manias, and the rest would be random seeds. The tournament can be seen here, and you can follow and vote along on my Twitter (@ztmcadoo)

The first four are already done. I put them up Monday, and because it was a spur-of-the-moment thing, I didn’t do a write up. So here are the results of the First Four of the Best WrestleMania Tournament.

First Four: WrestleMania XV vs WrestleMania 2000

WrestleMania 2000, I think, is an upset. The Fatal 4-way elimination match and the triangle ladder match is what pushed 2000 past XV. 2000 will take on the favorite in X7 next round.

First Four: WrestleMania XI vs WrestleMania 25

Another upset as WrestleMania XI takes the cake over 25. I am looking here, and maybe people liked the Lawerence Taylor match and how he was involved with the WWE. WrestleMania XI will take on WrestleMania 31.

First Four: WrestleMania IX vs WrestleMania XXVII

WrestleMania XXVII takes down WrestleMania IX to move on to the next round. Two of the coolest stages that WrestleMania has ever had, XXVII didn’t have as many duds. And the Undertaker had a clear win at XXVII and not a DQ win as he had at IX. WrestleMania XXVII and WrestleMania XXX will battle it out in the next round.

First Four: WrestleMania 2 vs WrestleMania 32

WrestleMania 2 won by a final vote of 3-1. 32 had its moments, but besides the ladder match and the women’s match there wasn’t that many memorable moments. WrestleMania 2 had three main events (one at each venue) so the fire power was there. The first two WrestleManias will face off in the first round.
