With the 131st pick the Buffalo Sabres have selected Matteo Constantini of the Buffalo Jr. Sabres of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL).
He was graded as the 96th best North American skater by NHL Central Scouting. Last season with the Jr. Sabres, the 18-year old center collected 36 goals, 32 assists and 68 points in 50 games.

The 6-foot tall, 174 pound prospect was being pursued by several top-tier NCAA schools just before the pandemic hit in March including: UND, Harvard, Cornell, Minnesota Duluth and Boston University.
Constantini will play next season with the Penticton Vees of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL).
