One Take for Each Game One of the NBA Playoffs

Pacers lead Bucks 1-0

Giannis’ days are numbered in Milwaukee. This was sad. Kyle Kuzma put up 0’s across the board and the rest of the Bucks didn’t help much more. If Giannis wants to content, he needs a new city.

Nuggets lead Clippers 1-0

This series is going 7. I said it before and game 1 showed nothing different. What a game. But the old Clippers showed their face, which could spell doom.

Knicks lead Pistons 1-0

The Pistons lost focus. They had a lead but let a huge Knicks 4th quarter take them out of the game. A young team and a JB Bickerstaff led offense that stagnated again late in a game, can Detroit bounce back?

Wolves lead Lakers 1-0

Luka can’t do it all alone. LeBron had a tendency to slow play a game 1, but 97 points isn’t going to cut it. Luka was outstanding, LeBron and Reaves were below their standard and the rest of the team sucked.

Thunder lead Grizzlies 1-0

We don’t need 7 games here. OKC is too good.

Celtics lead Magic 1-0

Celtics have answers all over. They have a roster who can pick up the slack for each other. Derrick White balled out while Porzingis struggled and the Celtics walked to a win.

Cavs lead Heat 1-0

Cavs always have an option offensively. In game 1, the guards carried the day. Garland, Jerome and Mitchell combined for nearly 90 points in a shooting barrage. Miami packed the paint but as long as the Cavs shoot like that, this will be over quickly.

Warriors lead Rockets 1-0

Clutch scoring could decide this series. Houston had trouble getting a bucket when they needed, which is their Achilles heel. Who is going to step up for them in those moments? Because Steph and Jimmy are more than willing.
