Brian Kelly asked if Notre Dame has something to prove after the 2012 loss to Alabama.

“No. No."
"I don’t know why this narrative always continues to pop up when we continue to be in the games."
"We are grinding it out like everybody else."
I thought Brian Kelly was crazy when he threatened to not play in the Rose Bowl if fans were not permitted. Brian Kelly saying that Notre Dame football has nothing to prove is absolutely bonkers! I feel bad for my brother Eric who is a die hard Notre Dame fan. How do you expect anyone to follow Brian Kelly into battle if he is alright with accepting participation trophies?
Let’s check in on my friend Brian up in Canada.
Brian Kelly…what a FUCKING idiot, saying ND has nothing to prove in playoffs, despite being 0-6 and blown out in every fucking game ????

Notre Dame is a 19.5 point dog against the first ranked Alabama Tide, one of the biggest spreads for this years bowl games. After doing some extensive research, Notre Dame is 0-6 in a BCS or New Year Six bowl game since 1998. In those six defeats, they have been outscored by a total of 144 points, including a 42-14 drumming in the BCS National Championship game in 2013 against Nick Saban and AJ McCarron. Since the inauguration of the College Football Playoffs which began during the 2014-15 season, Notre Dame has made the playoffs just one time during the 2018 season. In that contest, The Irish only managed to put up a field goal against freshman Trevor Lawrence and the Clemson Tigers. The Irish lost 30-3 in front of 70,000 fans.

Notre Dame vs Alabama
Boys to Men….
‘End of the Road’
This statement says a lot about Brian Kelly. Do you think those words would come out of the mouth of Nick Saban or Dabo Swinney? As a parent, would you want your son to play for Brian Kelly? I don’t think James Harrison would let his sons James and Henry play for him.
