The NASCAR Cup Series has their final race before their Summer break this Sunday. The Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is the last race before NASCAR takes a two-week break for some well-earned R & R. FRC 301 will be the final time that you can try and earn money with NASCAR until August. Read my help here if you really want that green and free money.
FanDuel NASCAR DFS Overview
In this NASCAR Cup Series DFS column, I will be using FanDuel prices and scoring. Their scoring includes the following:
- .1 points for leading a lap
- .1 points for completing a lap
- Add/subtract a half point based on the difference in a driver’s finishing position relative to their starting position
- Points based on where the driver finishes

Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 Drivers to Consider
Kevin Harvick ($11,300)
Kevin Harvick is surprisingly, still looking for his first win of the season. The speed hasn’t been there, but a return to New Hampshire could pay dividends with three wins in the past 10 races at the track, not to mention an average finish of 8th in that span. He starts 12th, so he can earn some points on his way to the front and could be one of the final chances Harvick has to get a win this season. Put Harvick in your NASCAR DFS lineups.
Brad Keselowski ($11,500)
The winner of last year’s race is on the good side of the list for DFS this week. Besides that win that he earned here last year, he has an average finish of 9.6 here at the Magic Mile. After plans were released that have Brad Keselowski out of the two-car going forward he wants to go out on top with this team. Keselowski is going to give it his all from here on out.
Matt DiBenedetto ($8,000)
Another Driver that we don’t know where they are going to end up next season is Matt Dibenedetto. It was announced on Thursday that the 21 car would be going to Harrison Burton for 2022, leaving Matty D looking elsewhere. That should fuel Dibenedetto to try as hard as he can to earn another ride. A string of top 10s has me overlooking his average finish here and I know he will continue his streak this week.
Alex Bowman ($10,000)
Alex Bowman had a strong run last week as he was able to gain 13 spots on his way to getting a fourth-place finish. Bowman has won a race in every month since April (Richmond, Dover, Pocono) and this is his final chance to get a win in July. I don’t know if he will get that win this week, but Bowman should have another good run, and I don’t want to bet against that weird stat.
Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 Drivers to Avoid
Austin DIllon ($7,300)
Yeah, Austin Dillon has been having a great year so far, but at New Hampshire, he is not that good. Only one top ten in the last ten races at the track and an average finish of 17th in those races. He is pretty cheap, but even the cheap guys need to have some good finishes at the track. Avoid Austin Dillon in your NASCAR DFS lineups this week.
Chase Elliott ($12,000)
Mr. Fan favorite has not had a good track history here at New Hampshire. In his seven career races at the track, he has an average finish of 16th here. For a guy this expensive I would want better numbers than this. Chase Elliott’s third-place starting position doesn’t help matters either. No go on Chase this Sunday.
Joey Logano ($10,800)
Joey Logano has had a roller-coaster season so far in 2021. He is up, then he is down and right now he is on the downhill. He has finished outside the top 10 in the last couple of weeks and I think that that streak will continue. He starts 15th and has an average finish of 10th so he could do well going off his previous history, but going off recent history I am going no.
Kurt Busch ($9,500)
The winner of last week’s race at Atlanta is on the avoid list this week, here is why: In the past ten races here he has an average finish of 18th at NHMS. He starts fourth this weekend and combine the two and they do not mesh well with each other and trying to earn points. Kurt Busch was great for the NASCAR DFS lineups last week, but this week leave him on the bench.
