The NASCAR Cup Series honors our fallen military members this weekend with the Coca-Cola 600. The Greatest day on racing will be capped off with this race from Charlotte Motor Speedway. This race you need people who will survive the whole race without being involved in a wreck or having engine trouble. This week if you want to win money you need to find guys who will be there at the end of the 600 miles.
FanDuel NASCAR DFS Overview
In this NASCAR Cup Series DFS column, I will be using FanDuel prices and scoring. Their scoring includes the following:
- .1 points for leading a lap
- .1 points for completing a lap
- Add/subtract a half point based on the difference in a driver’s finishing position relative to their starting position
- Points based on where the driver finishes

Coke 600 Drivers to Consider
Kyle Busch ($13,500)
With the 550 package returning this weekend you have to think Kyle Busch is bringing his A-game. Kyle is ready to return to a race where he has recently won (2018). The younger Busch needs to have a good run to get him some much needed momentum. Kyle Busch is ready to get his second win on the year and I believe it happens this week.
Ryan Blaney ($11,000)
A somewhat quiet season so far for YRB. I believe Blaney gets back to his good runs this week after an abysmal COTA race. He has a win on a 1.5 mile track at the sister track of Atlanta. Blaney should have a good run on Sunday.
Kevin Harvick ($10,300)
The Closer is back on the the good side of this list as he is very good at Charlotte. Has not won the 600 since 2013, but still has had some great runs in the race. Combine the fact that he finished 2nd in the last race with the 550 package and Harvick will be a good choice for Sunday.
Rickey Stenhouse Jr ($7,700)
What is this? RIckey Stenhouse Jr in the drivers to consider list? Yes, here is why. He is decent at the track and JTG Daugherty Racing is on an upswing as of late. Stenhouse is the senior driver on teh team and look for him to get maybe a top 10 with the 47 car this weekend.
Coke 600 Drivers to Avoid
Joey Logano ($11,500)
Joey Logano is not worth taking this week. With an average finish of 15th at the track in the last 10 times that they have raced on the oval at Charlotte. I can not see myself taking him with his price tag. Look towards his teammate in the 12 than Logano
Matt Dibenedetto ($9,500)
Matty D can not figure this place out. He has an average finish of 19th in his 10 finishes at the track. Even with good equipment in the 95 and 21 his average finish has been bad. I will skip Matt Dibenedetto until he shows me something at this track.
Bubba Wallace ($5,000)
The 23XI Racing #23 is not the team to trust this week. Lets start with their inconsistency. The team has sturggled to keep the car from having problems every now and then. In a 600 mile race you need the team to not make mistakes. Add in the fact that Wallace has an average finish of 29th in his four starts at the track. Even with a five thousand dollar price tag I would avoid the 23 this week.
Alex Bowman ($10,000)
Every time I put Bowman on this side of the list he always proves me wrong. His history at Charlotte is why I say avoid though. I his seven races at the track he has an average finish of 23.3 in his seven races at the track. Since joining HMS he has two top tens and two thirtith place or worse finishes. If you want to fade me go ahead because he may prove me wrong.
