This Thursday at Noon on Peacock, the WWE will visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, the WWE will host Crown Jewel. With nine matches on the card, this show should deliver with entertainment value. Behind the scenes, though it is pretty controversial.
WWE Crown Jewel Match Predictions
Monsoor vs Mustafa Ali
Monsoor returns to his home country to fight Mustafa Ali. Monsoor tried to be friends with Ali, but Ali wasn’t having it. That is pretty much the gist of this rivalry. That being said, no way Monsoor loses in his home country.
Winner: Monsoor
Seth Rollins vs Edge (Hell in a Cell)
The presumptive final match of this rivalry ends inside the cell. Seth Rollins has tortured and injured Edge to the point Edge has no choice but to ask for the cell. These two are going to go all out and will do everything they can to get the win. This could very well go either way, but in the end, only one will get the victory and I think it’s Rollins.
Winner: Seth Rollins
King of the Ring Final: Finn Balor vs Xavier Woods
The finals for the first King of the Ring tournament in two years will take place in KSA. Finn Balor returned to the main roster this year and even earned himself a Universal title opportunity at Extreme Rules. Xavier Woods on the other hand has been with Kofi the whole year, it is time to give him his push.
Winner: Xavier Woods
Raw Tag Team Championships: RK-Bro vs AJ Styles & Omos
The rematch from Summerslam will take place across the world from Las Vegas, the location of their first title match. The fact that AJ Styles and Omos are still together surprises me. Usually, WWE breaks up the tag teams soon after they lose the titles. That is probably what will happen Thursday in KSA.
Winner: RK-Bro
Goldberg vs Bobby Lashley (No-DQ)
Goldberg returns to KSA where he had an absolutely horrible match the last time out there. He’s hoping for redemption this time for more than him. Bobby Lashley hurt Goldberg’s son at SummerSlam and since then Goldberg has vowed revenge. He will get his hands on Bobby in a match where he can use any weapon he wants. That being said the Hurt Business will outnumber Goldberg and help Bobby win.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
Queens Crown Final: Zelina Vega vs Doudrop
The first-ever Queens Crown finals will take place in the country where women were not allowed to compete before two years ago at this event. Doudrop is now out of Eva Marie’s shadow and has earned her spot to the finals. Zelina Vega is getting her push after asking for a title shot and never getting it. This match should be a squash though.
Winner: Doudrop
WWE Championship: Big E vs Drew McIntyre
This match does not make sense to me as of right now. Theoretically, If McIntyre wins – SmackDown will have two world titles and RAW would have none. I don’t see that happening, but Brock Lesnar is a free agent fighting for the Universal title (more on that later) and could give McIntyre a chance if played correctly. I don’t see WWE wanting to go down that road though and RAW will keep the WWE title.
Winner: Big E
SmackDown Womens Championship: Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair vs Sasha Banks
The final time we will see this matchup as Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair will leave for RAW and Sasha stays on Friday nights. These three have put on fantastic matches when facing each other 1 on 1, and a triple threat should be even better. I don’t see Banks winning because with Charlotte coming over from RAW with the championship, they will probably switch SD and RAW titles. One of the two new RAW stars will walk out with the championship.
Winner: Becky Lynch
Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar
The rematch is finally here. Not only does Lesnar return for a match for the first time in 18 months, but we get Lesnar-Reigns AGAIN. This is the match that WWE is betting on to help bring more people into their product. The Paul Heyman angle is the perfect way to help build this as now Reigns has to watch out for the Heyman double-cross. Which will happen leading to Lesnar getting his manager and the title back.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
