This weekend, Batavia Downs will be hosting their annual Sports Collectors Expo where fans will have the chance to browse and purchase some awesome collectibles plus meet some of their favorite players! Some of the big names include Jim Kelly, Jordan Poyer, and 1st-round pick Greg Rousseau!
I’m very excited to get to Batavia Downs this Friday and Saturday for the Sports Collectors Expo. I recently got back into cards like so many others amidst the pandemic. It’s a great chance to meet others who are interested in the hobby as well as add to the collection.
Besides that, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for autograph and photo opportunities with some elite athletes! There’s a great selection of current Bills players and alum as well as some stars across the sports landscape. Other notable names include Sean Waltman(AKA X-Pac), Paul Molitor, and Andre Rison.
To attend, it costs just $10 per day at the door while autograph signing tickets can be purchased HERE. The cost of admission pays for itself as you get $10 in free play at the Batavia Downs casino and entered into the “Dealer Bucks” giveaway. Feel free to bring your children as anyone 12 and under gets in for free.
I can’t wait to get out there and check out all the awesome vendors and to meet some other members of the hobby! Stevie, MereKat and myself will be there Friday and MereKat said he will autograph ANYTHING free of charge. That includes hotdogs, babies, and Labatt Blues!
