With its final selection in the 2020 NHL Draft, the Buffalo Sabres select 18-year old forward Jakub Konecny of HC Sparta Praha in the Czech Republic’s Junior League. 

The 5-foot-11, 156 pound center was graded as the 98th best prospect by NHL Central Scouting (EU Players). In 2019, Konecny amassed 11 goals, 14 assists in 32 games for Sparta Juniors.
