Folks welcome back to Bills Breakdown where we breakdown all the action you may have missed. Picking it up here at Day 2 of Bills Camp.
- The Best Ability is Still Availability
I will sound like a broken record but as long as Buffalo Bills payers stay healthy, I will harp on this as the most important thing that can happen at Bills CAMP. For the second day, all 91 players are available for today’s practice.
2. At the present moment, Ke0n can do no wrong
We heard from Coach Joe before practice this morning, and not surprisingly the first question he was asked was about Keon Coleman. Coach Joe noted he had a good first practice, but what separates players is their ability to build on that. Seems like Ke0n was off to a good start here in Day 2, with this footage from Matt Parrino.
3. Playing it Safe at Safety
Some were surprised to see Damar Hamlin with the starters yesterday, but it seems the team is still figuring out exactly what it’s doing in that regard. Mike Edwards got the nod today, and Josh to Mack welcomed him to the practice field nicely.
4. ‘Everybody’s eating’ and the Chef Has the Oven on Preheat
I’ll let this video do the talking, Josh is getting warm wit dem boyz.
5. Kim Pegula was at practice!??!? (not confirmed by multiple sources)
First read this from @ThomasDeLaus of C1… would be a great note for her personal health if Kim was able to attend practice today. We continue to wish her and her family well in her recovery.
6. Defense Strikes Back
It seemed for the first hour the offense was getting the better of it in practice (which as Bills fans is preferred IMO) but it seems the Defense struck back in the 2h, with Ed Oliver leading the way.
Cam Lewis had an injury during practice– but after a short absence returned to the practice field.
8) Is Curtis Samuel the obvious ‘spork’ candidate?
Yesterday, McDermott discussed the idea of a spork on offense, someone who could perform many roles in different spots. If today’s practice was any indication, it would seem Curtis Samuel is that dude.
