Alright Degenerates, we are back! After a day off due to some medical issues (probably the gambling gods punishing me for a 4-0 night) we have a loaded Saturday and there is free money all over the board today! After an ice cold start we are back on the right track winning 8 of our last 12! Let’s continue that tonight!
Record: 17-19-1 (-4.8u)
Seton Hall (-5) at Georgetown
Our first game tonight is a battle between two Big East schools. Seton Hall (13-8, 12-9 ATS) travels to Georgetown (6-10, 9-7 ATS) hoping to complete the season sweep. In the first game this year Seton Hall won by a score of 78-67 despite their leading scorer Sandro Mamukelashvili scoring only 2 points and getting out-rebounded as a team by Georgetown 48-37. If Sandro can play like he normally does tonight, it will be very hard for the 89th rated Georgetown defense to stop the 19th rated Seton Hall offense. On the other side of the court Seton Hall also has the slight advantage with the 67th ranked defense compared to Georgetown’s 113th rated offense that is 244th in shooting percentage in the country.
USC (-5) vs Arizona
In the midst of a seven game win streak USC (18-3, 14-7 ATS) continues to be one of the most overlooked teams in all of college basketball. It would be a gigantic understatement to say that USC has been rolling in PAC 12 conference play this season. They are an absurd 12-2, 10-4 ATS in conference games this season with 8 wins by double digits. They have the 29th best rated offense and 9th best rated defense in all of college basketball and have held opponents to the 4th worst shooting percentage (38.3%). Tonight they face Arizona, a team that they already defeated 87-73 earlier this year. Normally a dominant team, Arizona has fallen off quite a bit this season and have lost 4 of their last 5 games. Part of the struggles can be related to the offense that has only scored 65.6 ppg and shooting 41.3% in those 5 games. With Arizona’s current form and USC’s defensive dominance I see the Trojans winning and covering another PAC 12 game.
Eastern Kentucky (-6) at SE Missouri St.
Our final game tonight is Eastern Kentucky (18-5, 14-6-1 ATS) at SE Missouri St. (8-14, 10-12 ATS). Eastern Kentucky continues to be one of my favorite teams to bet on this season. They play full court press all game and play at the third fastest pace in all of college basketball. They also have been very solid on the road this season but even better against the bottom half of their conference. On the road in conference play this year, EKU is 7-2, 6-2 ATS with their only losses coming to Belmont and Morehead State who are the top two teams in the standings. Against everyone else, EKU is undefeated and has won those games by an average margin of 9.8 points a game. I am expecting them to continue that tonight at SE Missouri St.
