3 NHL Plays for February 13, 2021

Wake’s Season Record: 19-11 (+4.61 units)

Yesterday’s Picks:

Bruins/Rangers U5.5 (EVEN) ✅
Rangers U2.5 (-125) ✅
Blues/Coyotes O5.5 (EVEN) ❌

I don’t have much to say on last night’s games. Bruins vs Rangers was a snooze fest, and somehow Degenerate Al and I found a way to lose on St. Louis and Arizona, even though I had Over 5.5 Total Goals and he had Under 3.5 STL Goals. Amazing how gambling can bring people together like this?

In case you guys forgot, tomorrow’s Valentines day, so if you’re short on cash and forgot to get a gift, get some free money and get your ass out to Wahl’s Candies! I’m sure Ty B would appreciate the company (if you know, you know)!

Today’s Free Money

Winnipeg Jets -1.5 (EVEN)

If you’ve been following my picks for just this week, you’ll know that I had this same pick on Thursday. I hate betting on the same thing so frequently, but the only difference between game 1 of this series and this game is that Matt Murray won’t play. This means Marcus Hogberg will be in net, and somehow he’s worse than Matt Murray. The Winnipeg Jets will come into this afternoon tilt with an 11-2 record against the spread, while the Ottawa Senators are floundering (5-10 ATS). I don’t think we’ll be getting plus-money spreads against Ottawa for much longer. Let’s take advantage of it.

Islanders ML (+110)

The Boston Bruins will come into this matchup a little banged up, and turning back to Tuukka Rask after Jaroslav Halak’s shutout against the other New York team last night. Halak has been the better keeper this year. There’s no way around it. And Boston seems to be running on fumes after such a hot start. Their last 6 games include one OT loss and 4 one-goal wins. They’re finding themselves in close games and sooner or later, something’s gotta give. I think it gives tonight, in the second half of a back-to-back against two different teams. The Bruins and Rangers really beat the hell out of each other, and I can’t imagine them feeling 100% just 21 hours later. The Islanders have yet to lose in regulation at home, and only have one loss on their own ice this year.

Tampa Bay Lightning/Florida Panthers U5.5 (EVEN)

Another under? Who have I become?

When the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning met two nights ago, Andrei Vasilevskiy was uncharacteristically bad, allowing 4 goals on 28 shots. If you think the Big Cat is going to do that two games in a row, think again. Following losses this year, he’s 1-0-1, with a GAA below 2.00 and a .934 SV%. It’s a very small sample size, but he’s just too good to play bad two games in a row. I would pick the Lightning to win, but they’ll be without captain and leading goal scorer Steven Stamkos, who was added to the COVID list (another reason to love the under).

EDIT:

I’m running with this parlay today too. Two of the games are listed above, so I won’t go into much detail at all:

Winnipeg Jets -1.5 (EVEN)
NY Islanders ML (+115)
Vegas Golden Knights REG ML (-130)

Total Value: +661

  3. Having read this I thought it was very enlightening. I appreciate you taking the time and energy to put this content together. I once again find myself spending way too much time both reading and posting comments. But so what, it was still worth it! Pandora Olag Nady

  4. Seriously now though, I have been deleting those types of comments from day one on my blogs. I cant stand them, to me it just adds useless junk and filler to my page for no real reason. Nobody gains anything from reading a sentence like that so there is no point of it being there. It does not add any value or any other view points to the disnissuoc. Ann-Marie Axel Shifra
